Emily operates with her commercial sensibilities at the forefront of mind. She approaches her work with the attitude of understanding the client’s business and strategy to advise clients in a considered and pragmatic way. She has a particular interest in Corporations Act matters and financial services related litigation.
Emily’s experience includes large scale litigation and class actions, consumer law, Corporations Act matters including director duties, financial services, probate, compulsory acquisition and general contractual disputes across a range of courts and tribunals. Emily also advises on corporate governance and risk management matters, particularly for financial services organisations.
Prior to joining Hamilton Locke, Emily worked as a lawyer in the disputes team at HopgoodGanim Lawyers and Norton Rose Fulbright, and most recently was seconded to the financial services legal team at AMP.
