Brad Allen

With a keen appreciation for problem solving, Brad continually works to develop solutions that reconcile the interests of all parties. He focuses on collaborating with clients and colleagues to determine the practical and logistical steps to execute transactions.

Brad specialises in corporate and institutional finance. He has acted for financiers and major corporations on a range of syndicated, leveraged, property and other debt financing transactions. His experience includes the full range of facilities to support a range of corporate clients. This includes clients in the construction industry who have significant performance and surety bond requirements, financial services clients in relation to various secured facilities, and financiers providing facilities to some of Australia's major retailers.

Prior to joining Hamilton Locke, Brad was a partner at Gadens, DibbsBarker and Clayton Utz.

  • Acted for CIMIC Group Limited in relation to the $1.9 billion refinancing of certain of its syndicated cash facilities.
  • Acted for National Australia Bank Limited in relation to facilities provided in connection with the merger of two prominent law firms.
  • Acted for a secured financier in relation to the re-scheduling and recovery of amounts owing under a secured note facility.
  • Acted for CIMIC Group Limited in relation to a global performance bond facility allowing for the issue of instruments in a variety of currencies to support projects worldwide.
