Amelia leverages her highly developed problem-solving skills to craft creative and thorough solutions for clients. She has a collaborative and ambitious nature, thriving particularly in environments populated by hard-working peers. Amelia is always focused on delivering high quality output and does so through ongoing learning and development.
As a finance expert, Amelia advises on acquisition, leveraged and structured finance, as well as distressed businesses.
Amelia is also particularly passionate about social justice issues and working to affect meaningful and sustainable change. She leads Hamilton Locke’s Community and Pro Bono Program, working with organisations to maximise impact in addressing important social issues such as barriers to access and world hunger. Amelia is also a volunteer evening solicitor with the Redfern Legal Centre.
Prior to joining Hamilton Locke, Amelia worked as a banking and finance lawyer at global firm Hogan Lovells, having worked in Sydney, Perth, Tokyo and Ho Chi Minh City.
